A lovely mid-drive stop with two friendly rangers.
The National Park Service was kind enough to show me a tour of President Clinton's birthplace. The tour guide was enthusiastic and provided a lot of information about President Clinton's childhood life, his grandparents, his mother and more. They recreated everything as it was back in the 1940s and 1950s. I can't believe this house is built in 1917. I highly recommend everyone to visit this historical site. Thanks to the National Park Service guide for giving a great tour.
The NPS has done a great job recreating the period furnishings of President Clinton's first home. The site is small and the tour is good.
This place is a nice little gem we found in our travels out west. The staff is friendly and fantastic. The tour of the house is free and very informative. I love any kind of history so this was a great find. The gardens and grounds are beautiful and it has a nice little gift shop. the only negative is that they need to establish a parking lot. As it is you must park on the side road. I am glad I was able to learn of this childhood home of Mr. Clinton and see all the photographs and the home. I will recommend this little gem to others.
Me and my son stopped there on our way from Texas. I was able to learn some interesting facts with my 3 year old. He loved seeing the older toys that former President Clinton played with.
