Just get in the damn car and get there. Best ribs, brisket, turkey, potato salad. I'm sure the rest is excellent but I'm only one humble man and I couldn't eat but so much. FREE Pinto beans from the bar when you dine in. They are delicious and are cooked with sausage and other meats which are still in the stew. Why are you still reading this? I eat a lot of bbq and I'm telling you ya just can't do better in the area than Big Jake's. Oh and get a damn pie for dessert, too. I don't care if you have to eat it on the toilet.
This was not disappointing ! It was so good ! Everything was perfect - beef brisket, chopped pork, beans with sausage great and I'm not usually a fan of beans ! And not to forget to mention the home made fried pies- like they used to be made ! Please could you open one in North Mississippi ! The service was excellent and very hospitable.

Great food...everything is homemade....fall off the bone ribs and super tender pork...good service....save room for a fried pie....ask for the pie to be warmed up...
What a great little BBQ place! The brisket was so flavorful, and the Okra was so amazing and the very best I have EVER had!!! Oh ya try a fried pie as well....delicious! The staff was so friendly. It's really worth the stop to enjoy BBQ!!!
