Authentic Mexican food after a long time...!!! Nice ambience and good staff. Upscale restaurant around that part of the Town.
Great food, large portions reasonable prices. We will return and highly recommend to locals and those passing thru. Friendly and efficient staff.
My son and I chose El Agaves for our lunch today. This was our first visit. I was looking forward to great service and great food. I have heard nothing but good, until we get there! I was very disappointed. We were seated immediately, but it was several minutes before a waitress even came to ask if we wanted drinks. Once she did, it was several minutes before we even got them. Now, I would expect this if the restaurant were busy, but there were less than five guests in the building. It took almost a half hour before we got our plates and we didnt even get both our meals at the same time. I had to wait for my son to get his so we could eat together. He ordered a cheeseburger and French fries. What he got was a burger with cheep dollar store cheese and his fries were fried potatoes. And my seafood taco salad was a joke. I also ordered a white queso that I didnt even get until I got my regular order. But the waitress did not charge me for my queso, Thank you to her for that, but those cooks need to step up there game!
We came to the restaurant tonight due to the reviews and we were not disappointed at all! The food and service was great. Beef queso is a must!! Live mariachi band was tonight too!!
The service was sub par and the food arrived cold. After we had it sent back the food turned out nice but our waiter was slow amd most of our time was spent waiting on service.
Not a happy customer, and I don't plan on visiting any time soon.
