How can you make a reservation when they refuse to answer their phone?
I'm only giving it a start because I have to. Most of the rooms smell like smoke, they had metal folding chairs for furniture and the place was disgusting. My husband laid down on the bed and a spider was crawling on the pillow, there was mouse feces on the bathroom counter, and the smoke detectors wires were cut and it had no batteries. Absolutely disgusting. My grandparents room smelled like pure cigarettes after we requested no smoking rooms. We received our money back after my husband pointed our the fire codes that were broke. I would never stay in a room.like this. It should he shut down. The price was also forty dollars more expensive a night due to the festival going on in the town. For the price they charged I expected a little better.
It was close to midnight and I saw their neon open sign so I went in just to ask how much a room was. The attendant told me 50 dollars and looked at me like I was in the wrong place. I was. I then went to the room which was adjacent to another room which had had chemicals released into it that caused the blinds to decay and stick to the window.
I turned the bathroom mirror light on next and it blinked. So I was thinking great I just rented a room with no working lights. Then I noticed there was no coffee maker. Only a microwave and a very old loud mini fridge. I could probably write a book about the horror of that night but I am just going to wrap it up there.
The attendant looked at me like I was in the wrong place. Found out later I was. There is a bar attached to this motel. From the road you do not get any indication of what this place really is it looks like a normal motel. Across the street is the state police department who apparently watch this motel like a hawk. As there patrol car was pulling people over in front of the motel (maybe leaving the bar) when I pulled in.
It was OK. I have been to way worse.
After walking in I immediately noticed the ceiling had holes, the walls had holes, and the floor had holes. Some were stuffed with tissue paper. Part of the blankets on the bed were burnt. One of the lamps on the wall was hanging off the wall with the top missing. The light I had attempted to turn on upon entering the room did not come on.
Dirty. Nice bar and cheap.
