The decor, etc. is dated. but it's just perfect. Everything is clean and very comfortable. It reminded me of places we would stay on road trips with my parents as a kid — down to the pool in the middle of the courtyard.
No problems encounter--a good value for the price. The property has a large amount of outdoor space--this would be ideal for a light practice for an athletic team.

The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.
From the moment Dalton at the desk checked me in, this place is just so nice! I had a huge king room with a great bed, comfortable recliner, nice TV, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, iron and work desk. It was immaculately clean and the towels were very fluffy. I had four huge pillows on my bed.
I had a great stay at this hotel. It is so charming. The family who owns it obviously cares a great deal about the upkeep and takes great pride in their establishment.
*Like seriously, they could shoot a season of Fargo here (if Fargo was in Arkansas), or a Wes Anderson flick, or a remake of National Lampoon's Vacation.
The breakfast was very generous for a Super 8; the usual toast, cereals, pastries, yogurt, fruit and juices. But they had two waffle irons, biscuits, sausage gravy, sausage patties and some cooked egg patties. So you could make a decent biscuit sandwich or meal. The coffee wasn't bad either.
It was decent. Got warm pretty quickly so the thermostat works really good. It was really cold that night.
There's a big patio with shade trees, a grill and lots of chairs. Sadly the pool was already closed for the season though it was till in the upper 80's.
I have told so many people that I want to go back here — come for the free waffles and stay for the kitsch!!! And bring your camera.*
The hotel was easy to find and get to off the highway. The staff I met was polite and helpful. The room was fine and a great bargain. The bed was comfortable, the pillows good and the ac unit was quiet. For the cost of the room I have no complaints. I did not attend the free breakfast but there is one provided.
I would highly recommend this place, Though I have stayed in many Super 8s, THIS one was better than any of them. It was better than a lot of more expensive places I have stayed!
